Nikki Heaton (b.1984, Nottinghamshire, England) is a sculptural textile artist exploring materiality, colour, and the stories that connect us. What does consciousness look like? What is the texture of expectation? What colour translates our joy or our pain? Using deadstock and recycled textile from industry waste streams, along with paints and natural earth pigments, her work is rooted deeply in storytelling. Exploring existential human themes, making visible that which cannot be seen; a space which holds both the beautiful and the broken.
