Clark Broadwood-Smith (b. 1995, Cambridge, UK) studied Sculpture and Fine Art at Norwich University of the Arts before travelling extensively. Upon returning to the UK, he set out to learn the traditional crafts of his home region, Suffolk. Working alongside master thatchers, sculptors, bronze founders, and woodcarvers, he applied these practical skills and insights to develop his own approach to contemporary sculpture. Since then, his work has been exhibited in galleries and exhibitions across the UK and London. Notably, in 2022 he was awarded a travelling scholarship to Rome by the Royal Society of British Artists, having won the Rising Stars Exhibition in Mayfair, London.
