Founded in Barcelona in 2022 by Alessandra Monarcha and Charlie Paddick, Leleni Studio explores the creative potential of reclaimed materials in architecture and design. The studio began by rescuing tonnes of natural stone from an abandoned stonemason´s workshop destinated for demolition. Today, through ongoing collaborations with stonmasons, Leleni continues to recover marble, quartzites and travertines offcuts, trnsforming discarded materials into distinctive furniture, objects and interiors. Working with the unique colors, textures and irregularities of each reclaimed stone, the studio develops unique furniture pieces that combine material experimentation, craftsmanship and contemporary aesthetics, reducing the need for new extraction while creation long lasting sustainable designs.
