Caleb Engstrom is an artist and designer based in Los Angeles, where he runs the design practice Rest Energy. His work explores material tension, process-driven experimentation, and the intersections of function, identity, and introspection. Engstrom holds an MFA from the University of California, Irvine, and has exhibited internationally at venues including The Wolford House, Frieze Los Angeles, Superhouse Gallery (New York), Collectible (New York), THEMA (Paris), Alcova (Miami), and SP-ARTE (São Paulo). His work has been featured in The New York Times, Dezeen, Elle Decor, Architectural Digest, and Sight Unseen.
