Alejandro Moyano is the founder of ANDEAN, a design studio rooted in Latin American craft and culture. After earning a Master’s in Industrial Product Design from Pratt Institute in 2019, he exhibited at Dubai Design Week and NYCxDesign.
ANDEAN’s debut collection, PERFIDIA (2022), featured bronze-accented flat-pack furniture inspired by Latin America’s 1970s era and won the DNA Paris and Sit Furniture Awards. The studio has since released the SITIERA Collection, inspired by Quito’s historic motifs, and ÍCONOS, a line of limited-edition pieces in bronze, volcanic rock, and hand-blown glass.
