Elegant Set of Two French Ceramic Table Lamps, 1960s
Elegant set of two French ceramic table lamps dating from the 1960s. Each lamp features a beautifully proportioned, sculptural ceramic base with a deep dark glaze, characterized by a generous rounded body and an elongated, tapering neck. The glossy glaze subtly reveals the handcrafted character of the ceramic, with delicate tonal variations and traces of the turning process adding depth to the surface. Their strong silhouette is balanced by a refined linen shade, creating a warm and atmospheric light when illuminated. With their understated yet sculptural presence, these lamps work beautifully as bedside lamps, on a console, or as accent lighting within both contemporary and vintage interiors. Both lamps are fitted with linen shades and are in good vintage condition, with age-related signs of use consistent with their period. The lamps are priced and sold individually, with two identical examples currently available. Measurements: H 51.5 x Ø 40 cm
