Contemporary Sculpture in Ceramic - MidNight Garden Collection - No 122

Inspired by the quiet mystery of tall grass, this sculptural vessel explores the interplay between movement, stillness, and concealment. Its organic form evokes the shifting blades of grass at night, where familiar shapes take on an almost otherworldly presence. Handbuilt from black stoneware, the vessel features intricately carved, overlapping layers that create a sense of rhythm and movement. The flowing lines wrap around the form, suggesting an abstract botanical bloom suspended in motion. A satin-sealed finish preserves the tactile richness of the clay, allowing subtle highlights to reveal the depth and dimension of its sculptural surface. Both bold and contemplative, this one-of-a-kind piece brings an organic, architectural presence to an interior, serving as a striking focal point while inviting closer exploration.
