Certificate of Authenticity

A Certificate of Authenticity (COA) is a document issued by a reputable source that confirms the genuineness of an artwork. Often, COAs are signed by the artist, but they can also be signed by the gallery representing the artist or the printmaker who collaborated on the piece. For works sold in the secondary market, COAs are frequently issued by authorized estates or foundations.

COAs usually contain the artist's name, the artwork's title, date, medium, and dimensions, and, whenever possible, an image of the piece.

The side table is the first piece of the winged series. It is made from standard, industrially folded aluminium profiles, which are joined to become a small table by visible stainless steel nuts and bolts. The whole piece relies on a system of framing and resting elements, where one piece depends on the other. The folded aluminium sheets are blank and shiny from the outside and matt hand brushed from inside. All edges and corners are carefully chamfered by hand. Each sidetable is handcrafted and made to order in Germany.
