This small vase is part of a series of experimental blown glass pieces, including coupes and carafes. The series features sculptural vine-like handles and ornaments evoking the twisting, living tendrils of plants. Each piece embraces the unpredictable nature of the glassblowing process, resulting in organic, irregular forms. The aesthetic recalls the botanical studies of Karl Blossfeldt, drawing parallels between the intricate structure of leaves and stems, and the malleability of glass.
