Expressive double bust by British sculptor Esther Melamed, beautifully executed in stoneware clay with a richly textured surface and strong sculptural presence. Esther Melamed is a British sculptor born in Iraq and raised in Israel, later settling in Cambridge. Her work combines modelling and stone carving influences, with an emphasis on mass, structure, and reduced form. She has exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
