Rare Børge Mogensen Oak Cabinet for Karl Andersson & Söner, 1960s

An elegant oak Cabinet crafted in beautifully grained oak, the sideboard reflects Mogensen’s characteristic approach to Scandinavian modernism: understated, functional, and exceptionally well proportioned. The clean architectural form is complemented by refined brass hardware, adding a subtle decorative accent to the warm natural tone of the wood. Behind the doors, the spacious interior features removable shelves, allowing for flexible storage. With its restrained detailing and timeless proportions, the piece works equally well as a sideboard, credenza, or low storage cabinet. The sideboard remains in good vintage condition, with some visible imperfections and signs of wear to the top surface, consistent with its age and history. These traces of use contribute to the authentic character and patina of the piece. Please refer to the images for details. A refined and highly versatile example of mid-century Scandinavian design by one of Denmark’s most influential designers.
