This distinctive pewter vase by Dutch manufacturer N.V. Metawa Tiel is an excellent example of structured, architectural Art Deco design. Made in the historic metalworking hub of Tiel, Netherlands, it features the company's proprietary "Metox" pewter alloy, which was specially formulated to resist heavy tarnishing. The design is boldly geometric, defined by a dramatically flared rim and a unique stepped body with incised horizontal ring detailing that leads down to a flared pedestal base. The metal finish has a beautiful, mottled vintage texture that catches the light and emphasizes its tiered form, making it a standout decorative object for any period or modern interior. The base is stamped with the authentic maker's hallmark. It measures 20.5 cm in height, with a 15 cm top diameter and a 9 cm base diameter.
