Murano Glass Catchall "Ghost" Bowl, Italy, 1980s

In the 1980s, Murano glassworks produced free-form pieces exploring asymmetry and material texture. Streaked opaline glass, blending white and seafoam green, became a signature of this Italian decorative production. Catchall in Murano glass, circa 1980. Elongated, asymmetrical shape with an organic feel, evoking a wave or shell. White opaline glass streaked with seafoam green, worked in continuous striations that follow the form's movement. Thick, rounded rim, slightly flared base. Hand-blown piece, Italian manufacture. Good overall condition. Minor surface scratches inside, consistent with age and use. No chips or cracks. Dimensions: length 40 cm, width 22 cm, height 14.5 cm. Place on a console, sideboard or coffee table to hold keys, jewelry or small objects. Also works as a standalone sculptural piece.
