Vibrant mid-century gouache painting by Swedish artist Leopold Fare, dated 1964. The composition features dynamic abstract forms in bold blue, yellow, green, and umber tones, showcasing Fare’s expressive, gestural style. Leopold Fare (1912–1996) was a Swedish painter known for expressive abstract compositions, dynamic color fields, and a strong sense of movement. Educated in Stockholm, he exhibited widely throughout Sweden and was active for more than five decades.
Fare worked in both figurative and abstract styles, and his paintings are held in several Swedish public and private collections.
