Large handcrafted earthenware vase by Andersson & Johansson (founded 1909) of Höganäs, Sweden. Dating to the 1940s–50s, this piece features harmonious proportions and a deeply textured surface beneath an off-white glaze with delicate brown flecks throughout. The vase bears its original maker's mark on the base, confirming its authentic Swedish provenance. A wonderful work of Scandinavian Modern design.
