Deeply inspired by the Japanese philosophical concept of Iki, the "La Taulo" collection stands as an homage to raw matter enhance by exceptional craftmen gestures. As the culmination of our research into the structural assembly of clay and wood, "La Taulo" is a collection of side tables and coffee tables envisioned as micro-architectures. Developped within the Manufacture Chapo, the historic workshop of Pierre Chapo’s works in Gordes, South of France, this collection expresses the indelible traces of traditional artisanal savoir-faire. The technical rigor of the joinery and fabrication is elevated by the physical imprint of the craftsman's gestures. The sensitivity of these human imprints, paired with the richness of matter in its purest form, gives birth to a collection of furniture whose aesthetic potency transcends mere formal appearance.
