Italian Art Deco Box in Rosewood, Metal and Brass 1930

Italian decorative production of the 1930s fully embraced the Art Deco vocabulary: clean lines, stepped profiles, and deliberate material contrasts. Stepped structure — slightly overhanging lid, low plinth base — edged in black lacquered trim at the arris. The central handle consists of two superimposed rectangles in gilt brass and brushed chrome, a layered composition characteristic of the period's aesthetic language. Natural wood interior.
