Designed by the Turin-based collective Anonima Design, formed by five architects—Sergio Jaretti, Elio Luzi, Federico Prandi, Viviana Riccato and Mario Virano—this rare La Prora chair was produced by Bonetto during the 1970s. The group became known for its experimental approach to furniture design, creating innovative pieces that combined architectural thinking with multifunctional living solutions.

The La Prora model perfectly illustrates this philosophy. Constructed from plywood with a striking geometric silhouette, the chair can be folded completely flat when not in use, making it both a practical and visually intriguing design object. The angular seat structure, reminiscent of a ship's bow, inspired the model's name, while the clever folding mechanism reflects the designers' fascination with transformable furniture.

Produced by Bonetto, a manufacturer closely associated with progressive Italian design of the era, La Prora is today considered a rare example of the experimental furniture produced in Turin during the 1970s. Presented in good vintage condition with signs of age and use consistent with its history. An excellent collector's piece that functions equally well as a chair, occasional seat, or sculptural object. Dimensions Width: 50 cm Depth: 52 cm Height: 82 cm
