Étude 38 is a big hand carved sculpture in wood with abstract form. The wood carving features natural grain patterns throughout the hand carved surface and visible chisel marks. This substantial piece combines organic curves with geometric shapes. The artist explores volume through careful material reduction. The piece is made of 4 pieces that can be assembled in different ways. Made in bass wood. Dimensions: H122 × W64 × D66 cm (H48.0" × W25.2" × D26.0") The sculpture works well as a floor piece in public spaces or home living areas.
