A charcoal drawing on paper by Swedish modernist Edvard Andersson, monogram-signed and dated EA 1930. Interlocking curved and angular forms, part figure, part pure geometry and drawn with confident, fluid line work and tonal shading. The composition belongs to Andersson's cubist period of the late 1920s and 1930s, during which his work moved from portraiture towards increasingly abstract form. Framed in walnut. Dimensions: 61 x 47.5cm / framed 71.5 x 57cm (24" x 18.7" / framed 28.1" x 22.4"), Provenance: From the artist's estate.
