Certificate of Authenticity

A Certificate of Authenticity (COA) is a document issued by a reputable source that confirms the genuineness of an artwork. Often, COAs are signed by the artist, but they can also be signed by the gallery representing the artist or the printmaker who collaborated on the piece. The collection “CASE” is a synthesis of a recent observation on forms and proportions on Armenian monumental architecture, from both historical and modernist times. Consisting of very legible and tangible geometrical elements yet applied in a certain complexity. Rather than just sampling or re-using any specific forms or elements, the aim was mainly to translate these impulses in a less obvious and more abstract manner and crafting them into a universal, versatile and noble material, such as bronze.
