A large Murano glass vase by Cà dei Vetrai, worked in the traditional incamiciato (cased) technique and defined by a remarkable transition of color through the glass. At 36 cm high, the vase possesses a confident physical presence, balanced by the clean, timeless simplicity of its silhouette. Its broad rounded shoulders taper downward before opening into a widely flared rim, allowing the color intensity itself to become the primary ornament. The vessel begins in an intense, almost Klein-blue cobalt at the base, where the cased glass is thickest and most saturated. As the form rises, the tone gradually softens into a luminous, cool turquoise across the broad rim.
