Exclusive Mid-Century 'Pointe de Diamant' sideboard of high quality. Designed by Antoine Philippon and Jacqueline Lecoq in France in 1962 and produced by Behr in Germany the same year. The sideboard features four distinctive diamond-shaped doors with elegantly crafted chrome hinges. The exterior and doors are finished in a mahogany veneer, while the interior is done in light maple veneer, creating a beautiful contrast. Behind the doors is a spacious storage area with two drawers on the right side. The slender metal frame gives the sideboard a stylish, floating effect. Includes the original Behr label and the purchase invoice with related correspondence from 1962. The highboard is in good vintage condition with a nice patina from age.
