A rare pendant light, model 6403, produced by Arvid Böhlmarks Lampfabrik in Stockholm. First appearing in the company's 1928 product catalogue (pictured), this example survives in exceptional original condition. The lamp features a beautifully ribbed opaline glass shade held by a polished nickel-plated fitting, with a characteristic decorative finial at the base. A quintessential example of Swedish Art Deco. Böhlmarks Lighting Factory was founded in Stockholm in 1872, becoming one of Scandinavia's most respected lighting manufacturers, collaborating with leading architects and designers. Its pieces spanned Art Nouveau through Art Deco and Scandinavian Modern, and remain highly sought after today. Professionally rewired and grounded. Fitted with an E27 socket and Euro DCL connector.
