‘1948’ Table Lamp, 2024 Inspired by passage into the vestibule of ‘Casa Luis Barragán’, Mexico City built in 1948. A closed in banana fibre shade, soaked in beeswax offering a drum skin texture and warm glow even without illumination. Following down the brass neck landing onto a solid brown Japan stained hardwood base. Dimensions : 550 mm h x 300 mm w / 21.5” H x 12” w ‍ ‍ Materials: Banana Fibre paper, beeswax, waxed cotton cord, oiled brass, hardwood Weight : 2.2 kg / 6.6 lbs Lamp fitting : E14 , LED bulb recommended ( bulb not included ) Cabling : Espresso woven cotton with inline switch , 200mm length Handmade to order in Sydney, Australia
