Tapio Wirkkala Silver Bowls
These silver bowls by Tapio Wirkkala, a renowned Finnish designer, have been praised for their stunning design. Sold as a pair, they have gained popularity since their debut at the Finnish industrial design triennial fairs of 1951 and 1954 in Milan. Widely recognized for his glass designs, Wirkkala's versatility knows no bounds - his unique approach to design is both functional and scientific. Taking inspiration from natural shapes and forms, such as leaves, seashells, and even ice formations, his work has been displayed in prestigious museums around the world.
