Rooms Studio is a Tbilisi based design studio that primarily focuses on collectible furniture and designing various architectural spaces. In 2007, Nata Janberidze and Keti Toloraia established the first female-run studio in Tbilisi, Georgia.  Intuitive by nature, Rooms Studio’s creative methodology is indirect and fluid. Working primarily on a collection-to-collection basis with recurring elements creates a continuous, ever-evolving body of work. As in the architecture in their motherland, historical layers are added to one another without abandoning the previous chapters. Repetition, one of the duo’s trademarks, reminds the viewer of their feminist approach, as well as Georgia’s Eastern culture. In this way, Rooms Studio creates a perfect blend of design where East meets West.
