'Bê' Easel
This is a brushed aluminium and solid wood double-sided easel, a decorative object used to display two artworks at the same time. Composed of four parts, being one a rare solid wooden ball from the 60s acquired in an art fair in São Paulo, Brazil, this easel can be totally disassembled.
Due to the fact that there was just a set of 2 wooden balls to be purchased, this easel is a limited edition of 2.
A practicing architect from a family of doctors who design their own furniture, Helena Trindade has a deep interest in furniture. Basic geometric shapes combined with lines and more lines - that's what attracts her. The artist/architect creates pieces that primarily serve the desired functionality, but that also behave as sculptures in the space. After a work experience in the Netherlands, she has deepen her belief that colours bring life to a room, and that bold design can have its place even in the most traditional homes.
