Daniel Swarilov is a London-based artist and designer working primarily with cast metal. His practice spans sculptural objects, furniture and jewellery produced through sand-casting and lost-wax processes in aluminium, bronze, iron and silver. Drawing from gathered branches, orchids, geological textures and found surfaces, the works preserve traces of landscape, fire and transformation directly in metal. Casting marks, oxidation and irregular surfaces are intentionally retained, allowing the process itself to remain visible within each piece. Originally trained in architecture before moving into metalwork and casting, Swarilov creates small-edition and unique works that move between sculpture and functional object.
