Sold unframed. Regarde-moi No. 8 (2020) explores the multiplicity of identity through the repetition and merging of facial forms. Two figures appear in close relation, their features echoing and overlapping to suggest the different selves that can coexist within a single person. Social, professional, and intimate identities are not presented as separate or contradictory, but as interconnected facets of a continuously evolving sense of self. Through the fluid boundaries between one face and another, the work invites the viewer to question where one identity ends and another begins. A face. Two faces. Maybe three... sometimes more. Gouache on Hahnemühle paper 500 gsm Natural white, acid-free, and age-resistant. Dimensions: 30 x 40 cm.
