The Archi wall light by Violaine d'Harcourt explores the idea of a miniature theatre contained within the lamp itself. Its outer shell in polished steel frames a recessed interior, covered with paper, leather, or wood veneer; materials that warm the light that grazes their surface. At the centre of Archi, a cylindrical washi paper diffuser conceals the tubular bulb, casting a soft, even glow while the material behind it radiates colour and texture.
Each interior lining is available in a range of materials (colored or marbled paper, leather, or walnut wood) so that every Archi can be tailored to its setting, becoming as much a reflection of the space around it as of the light within. This lamp, as all of Violaine d'Harcourt lamps is crafted in Portugal and the lead time for this specific model is 10 weeks.
