Architect, designer and artist based in Paris, Clémentine d'Aspremont-Menayas designs furniture at the meeting point of architecture and art. Her Avao collection, produced in limited editions of 50 per material combination, is made in France from bent beech plywood, oak or walnut veneer, full-grain leather and brass. Informed by modernist classics, each piece is built on a cantilever curve that carries real weight while keeping an unexpected lightness, sculptural from every angle, and equally at home in a contemporary interior or a period apartment. The collection comprises a chair, an armchair, a lounge chair and a nesting coffee table. Demountable and recyclable.
