Overall very good condition. Description Karl Dittert was a German industrial designer and university professor. He served first as a professor and, from the 1970s onwards, as the rector of the University of Design in Schwäbisch Gmünd. Alongside his teaching career, Dittert worked as a freelance industrial designer in his own studio. His clients included WMF, Lufthansa, Ritterwerke, and Bosch. Today, his designs are exhibited in numerous museums worldwide; pieces can be found in the Museum of Modern Art (New York), the Gemeentemuseum Arnhem, the Design Center Stuttgart, Die Neue Sammlung (Munich), and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Karl Dittert only ceased his work as a freelance industrial designer when he was over 90 years old. Karl Dittert's most famous work is the "Pasal" office chair offered here, which dates back to the 1970s.
