In Ukrainian, strikha is the traditional straw roof of a home, a symbol of shelter, warmth, and protection. The STRIKHA table lamp by FAINA carries that meaning into its form. The shade is handwoven from willow vine into a single continuous circle, drawing on one of Ukraine's ancient crafts. A sculptural black clay base grounds the woven lightness above it.
