Stainless Steel Coffee Table - Lasso Series
The Lasso Coffee Table is a sculptural stainless steel and glass coffee table by Nitush Aroosh, part of the Lasso Collection (2025). Its mirror-polished base twists and coils beneath a transparent glass top like a rope caught mid-unfurl — a gesture frozen at the moment of greatest tension. Each piece is formed through hydroforming — stainless steel shaped under high water pressure — then hand-worked into the looping, rope-like forms that define the series.
The hammered surface catches and fragments light as the viewer moves around it. The mirror-polished surfaces absorb and transform the surrounding environment, so each piece reads differently depending on where it sits and how the light falls. The tension between dynamic form and still, reflective surface is where the collection lives.
The glass top allows the base to remain fully visible from every angle — functional as a centrepiece table and equally strong as a standalone sculptural object, suited to contemporary domestic and hospitality interiors. Nitush Aroosh is a collectible design studio founded by brothers Nitush and Aroosh Mahipal in New Delhi, India. Self-taught and process-driven, they transform stainless steel through hydroforming and hand-hammering into sculptural furniture and lighting — fluid forms, stilled in time.
