Stainless Steel Bench - Levitar Series
The Levitar Bench is a sculptural stainless steel and textile bench by Nitush Aroosh. A polished stainless steel frame with flowing, undulating lines supports a tensioned fabric seat — folds and curves suggesting forms shaped by internal force, caught at the moment of maximum expression.
Formed through hydroforming and hand-worked, the reflective steel frame catches and scatters light — architecturally bold from a distance, refined and considered in its detail. Polished steel and tensioned textile share a common quality — both are shaped by tension — which gives the piece its formal coherence and distinctive visual rhythm.
Founded by brothers Nitush and Aroosh Mahipal in New Delhi, India, Nitush Aroosh is a self-taught collectible design studio whose practice centres on the transformation of stainless steel into sculptural objects. Each piece is shaped by hydroforming and resolved by hand — no two are ever exactly alike.
