A Certificate of Authenticity (COA) is a document issued by a reputable source that confirms the genuineness of an artwork. Often, COAs are signed by the artist, but they can also be signed by the gallery representing the artist or the printmaker who collaborated on the piece. For works sold in the secondary market, COAs are frequently issued by authorized estates or foundations.

COAs usually contain the artist's name, the artwork's title, date, medium, and dimensions, and, whenever possible, an image of the piece.

The Aka is a glass coffee table, a study in transparency built from Italian glass rather than stone. It trades mass for light, holding a room without ever filling it. It is offered in two Italian glasses. Bronzed glass carries a warm amber tone, catching light and softening it as it passes through. Smoked glass is cooler and quieter, tinted a smoke grey that reads as architecture without turning opaque. In both, the glass coffee table keeps a shadowed depth rather than a solid mass, its tone shifting gently through the day. The construction hides nothing. Two glass panels meet at a right angle and lock into a cross-leg base, the join reading straight through the translucent material, the whole standing without a frame or a single visible fixing. Low and composed, the glass coffee table settles a living room rather than filling it, at ease in the kind of considered interior it was made for. The Aka is an Italian coffee table made to order in Cantù, in Lombardy's long-established furniture district, drawn from full-slab stone, solid timber, and premium Italian glass.
