Onda is a small-run series of raku-fired ceramic wall sconces made in Miami. Each piece is fired, then reduction-finished while still hot, and the surface develops in real time. During firing, metal oxides react with flame and smoke, producing unpredictable variations — color shifts, metallic tones, and fine crackles from rapid cooling. The glaze sets the overall character, but the exact result never repeats. Every Onda carries its own finish, made as a one-off collectible piece. Made-to-order pieces are available. Metallic splashes depend on the firing and may appear more or less.
