Born in Brazil in 1936, the designer, architect, and entrepreneur was a central figure in the Brazilian Modern movement of the last century. As the founder of the furniture manufacturer Lafer MP, he is responsible for some of the most influential and sought-after pieces today, including the Lafer MP-41 offered here, dating from the early 1970s. The armchair captivates with its eccentric design and high quality. Its character is typical of the Brazilian Mid-Century aesthetic.
Upholstered in light brown leather. The webbing has been completely replaced. Very good used condition. Slight patina on the front of the seat.
