An elegant pair of studio ceramics by the renowned Carl-Harry Stålhane for Rörstrand, Sweden, 1950s. The set comprises a slender, tear-drop vase and a small bowl, both finished in Stålhane's signature mottled blue glaze with subtle shifts of rust, light green and pale blue breaking through, a hallmark of his experimental approach to stoneware surfaces. Both pieces are signed to the underside with Stålhane's monogram "CHS," the model name, and the Rörstrand factory mark, confirming their authenticity. Trained as a painter and sculptor, Stålhane was one of the most important figures in twentieth-century Swedish ceramics. His name is synonymous with refined, sculptural forms and masterful glazework.
