Harald Notini Böhlmarks Brass Floor Lamp 1940s
A floor lamp in patinated brass by Harald Notini for Böhlmarks Lampfabrik, Stockholm. A slender column rising from a weighted circular base, numbered 15028. The upturned woven rattan shade is a later addition, sympathetic in material and scale to the brass stem beneath. Notini (1879--1959) served as Böhlmarks' artistic director from 1916, spanning Swedish Grace through to postwar modernism. Böhlmarks, founded in 1872, was the leading Scandinavian lighting manufacturer of its era. Updated electrics. Dimensions: H 160cm x Ø foot 30cm (H 63" x Ø foot 11,8")
