A rare piece of Italian nomadic design from the 1940s, this travel tray embodies the functional elegance of early Gucci leather accessories . Designed to accompany travel by train or car, it reflects an era when every detail counted.
Crafted from gilded brass, the tray features two slightly beveled compartments. Its original case, in deep green leather lined with silk, bears the discreet brand of the house. Italian craftsmanship, hand-finished typical of the period. Good overall condition. Traces of use and a uniform patina on the brass, giving the metal an authentic warmth without altering its shine. The interior of the box is clean and the closure is functional.
