A French Art Deco table lamp in chrome, the flared trumpet shade sitting on a stepped collar, chrome ball stem and weighted circular base. The form is classical in reference but resolved with the restraint and precision of 1930s modernism, a lamp that sits equally comfortably in a Bauhaus or French moderniste interior. The chrome is in excellent condition throughout with one small dent to the shade. The warm-toned inner surface of the shade diffuses light upward, creating a gentle ambient glow. Up-dated electrics with twisted fabric cord, bakelite E27 fitting, EU plug, and switch. Dimensions: H 26cm x Ø 16.8cm (H 10.2" x Ø 6.6"), Condition is excellent overall; one small dent to shade.
