Part of Jess Wheeler’s Bronze Wall Light Collection, this sculptural piece began its life not in a studio, but in Wheeler’s own garden—as a cabbage grown from seed. Carefully harvested and cast in bronze, the result preserves the layered complexity and organic beauty of the original vegetable in enduring form.

The wall light is fitted with a discreet mains-powered 65mm bulb holder, positioned behind the sculpture to softly illuminate the wall with a warm, ambient glow. Its presence is both unexpected and quietly powerful—a celebration of the everyday made extraordinary.

As with all of Wheeler’s work, each piece is individually handcrafted. No two are exactly alike, and the one you receive may vary slightly from the photographs—making every light a truly unique botanical artefact cast in bronze.
