An Art Deco uplighter, likely of French origin, 1930s. The trumpet-shaped metal shade flares dramatically upward, its exterior finished in a rich verdigris with natural mottling, mimicking the patina of aged bronze. Raised on a black lacquered base with a small brass collar. Rare and characterful, as much sculpture as lamp. Dimensions Height: 28 cm (11") Diameter: 27 cm (10.6")
