1960s Italian Cognac Leather Office Set
In 1960s Italy, office accessories for smokers reflected a certain idea of everyday elegance: functional, compact, and made from fine materials. This set is a perfect example and now stands as a true time capsule . Comprising an ashtray, a cigarette case, and a pencil holder, it combines meticulously crafted cognac leather with clean-lined chrome metal elements. The design is rigorous, almost architectural, typical of Italian design of this period, where each object naturally finds its place on a desk. This set boasts exceptional provenance. Given as a wedding gift in 1971, it has never been used. It has remained in its original box and was only recently removed for the purpose of taking these photographs. Its condition is therefore remarkable, near mint, with intact leather and perfectly preserved metal parts. A rare set, steeped in history, ideal for an office or a collection, and an intact witness to a way of life that has now disappeared.
