Vintage "Coquille" Wall Light, Sweden 1940s
A stunning wall light crafted in 1940 by the Swedish company ASEA. Known as the "Coquille" model, it features a shell-shaped shade in clear pressed glass with distinctive rippled texture.
The scalloped pattern creates beautiful light diffusion when illuminated. Mounted in an aged brass cup holder and fitted with a white cord and inline switch. The design perfectly captures the meeting point between decorative Art Deco influences and streamlined Scandinavian aesthetics.
The lamp has been rewired with an E27 socket and European Type C plug, which can be replaced with another type upon request.
Condition: In good vintage condition, with natural patina on the brass mount. Measurements: Width 25 cm (9.8 in) Height 23 cm (9.1 in), Depth 13 cm (5.1 in)
