Miriam Loellmann is a German-born artist based in Rio de Janeiro. Her practice explores geometry, material and the shifting experience of perception through sculptural and wall-based works. Beginning with simple geometric structures, Loellmann develops her works through a direct engagement with material and process, allowing unpredictability to emerge within the initial structure. Her works continually reveal new aspects through light, space and the viewer’s position, creating a quiet yet tangible sense of presence.
