The Soucy Shop’s work in one-of-a-kind and made-to-order ceramic sculpture are designed by artist Philip M Soucy. Philip explores movement, space, and time through his repetitive layering of hand rolled coils. The objects which emerge by this process rhythmically spiral into existence, transforming from mud to design.

Philip is interested in how an object’s presence affects a room, creating a space that transports and inspires; the spiraling coils evoke the rhythm of their own creation as the viewer moves around the object, reflecting creativity and movement into conversation with everyday presence.
