Geometric Side Tables, France 1970s

A distinctive pair of French side tables dating from the 1970s, defined by their geometric forms and versatile modular character. Each table features an angular, asymmetrical top, allowing the two pieces to be arranged in a variety of configurations. The dark-stained wooden frames contrast beautifully with the light laminate tops, giving the tables a graphic and architectural appearance. Slender square legs and exposed connections emphasize the straightforward construction, while the angled edges create a subtle sense of movement. Designed to work either individually or together, the tables can be positioned side by side to form a larger surface, placed at an angle, or separated throughout an interior. Their understated proportions and modular quality make them particularly versatile as side tables, occasional tables or compact consoles. The pair remains in good original vintage condition, with signs of age and use consistent with their period, including some wear to the wooden edges and light traces of use to the tops. These details contribute to their authentic vintage character. Priced and sold as a set of two pieces. Measurements: H 75 x W 139 x D 60 (per piece)
